Prospective Marriage Visa 300 Applications

The Prospective Marriage Visa 300 allows people to come to Australia to marry their prospective spouse. This visa is only available to applicants outside Australia. Applicants within Australia will not use this visa.

If you are granted this visa, you need to marry your prospective spouse and apply for a Partner (subclasses 820 and 801) visa before your Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300) expires. Once you are granted a visa 820 or 801 you can apply for Medicare and move onto becoming an Australian permanent resident.
